FRAMES OF MIND
This series began as an idea for a children's book and became something else entirely. Working with miniatures and figurines rather than the full-scale sets and figures of my usual practice, I discovered that small things could carry large narratives — that a tiny figure in a vast constructed landscape could hold just as much emotional weight as anything life-sized, and sometimes more.
I became fascinated with scale as a tool: the way miniatures invite you to lean in, to look closer, to enter a world that exists just at the edge of your reach. The images are playful and a little magical, but there is something in them that stays just slightly out of grasp. That distance is the point.
